Dr. David Scott Guiler, died Wed, April 28, 2010 at Central Baptist Hospital. Scott graduated from Bath County High School in 1971 and went on to graduate from Morehead State University in 1975 with a BS in Chemistry and he received his medical degree from The University of Kentucky Medical School in 1980. In 1985 he completed his residency in OB/GYN and was a Fellow of The American College of Obstetrics and Gynecology. He practiced medicine at Central Baptist Hospital as a member of Women’s Care Center Medical Group. He touched many families’ lives by caring for women. He was honored and blessed to deliver thousands of babies since 1981. He was my personal physician since 1986. He delivered both my children. He also saved my life in 1994 when he found 12 cancerous tumors in my uterus that had gone undetected. He will always be my hero. He will be greatly missed. No one can replace his gentle touch and his wonderful sense of humor.
