Perry Lynn Adkins

Perry is survived by his loving wife of 43 years, Kathy, two sons, Willard and Channon (Jessica) Adkins both of Lexington, and three grandchildren Connor (13), Kamryn (10) and Mallory (7), He also leaves behind three sisters, Sadie (Carroll) Dotson, Sue Bevins, and Cathy (Arnold) Thornsbury, two brothers, Larry Adkins and Jerry Adkins, along with a host of loving nieces, nephews, and extended family. Perry was a caring and loving husband, father, grandfather (“Pop”) and friend to everyone that met him.

Perry worked at Community Trust Bank for 37 years and was a believer in the Baptist faith. His marriage to Kathy was truly one for the ages, as many have said, they were the perfect example of soulmates finding each other in this life. Perry truly was a renaissance many with many varying interests and capable of anything he set his mind to. But more than anything. he dedicated his life to the family he leaves behind. Perry was always there to be a beacon and guiding light for those around him.
